Coast FL75 Headlamp Review

Today we take a look at the Coast FL75 Headlamp. The FL75 is a dual color headlamp with beam focusing, which allows you to quickly change the headlamp from an ultra wide flood beam to a long reaching spot beam. The Red LEDs help to preserve night vision and can be used for a variety of tasks, including reading documents such as maps or for basic navigation in the dark. The red LED was very impressive in our tests, and we were able to easily see a fair distance with just the red LEDs and navigate at night around our campsite. On low the FL75 will run for 75 hours, and with the flood setting of the light it was more then enough for all of our normal tasks. The kids were easily able to get the hang of using the headlamp in a very short time, and all of them liked the flood option on the headlamp. Even our youngest was able to operate the light without a problem. Overall, this is a great headlamp and with the run time and options, is a great item to add to your Bug Out Bag or Get Home Bag, Black Out Kit or just for your camping and hiking needs.
