This is a vegetarian meal if you are looking for vegetarian options. This is an easy to pack meal for the trail or day on the go. The Backpackers Pantry packages are slim and make packing these in a bag or for a trip much easier. After opening the bag the smell was decent, not like Mom’s homade Lasagna but nothing to turn you off. Texture was slightly off. Our least picky eater did not prefer this meal, but did say she would eat it if needed. The other two loved it, so it could be hit or miss with your group or kids. Overall this is at least worth a try!
